He recognized the need for a really good chair at an outstanding price that would be easy on church resources at a time when such resources where needed elsewhere. Jim knew that churches would be forced to settle for low quality imported chairs unless a USA manufacturer stepped up and offered a low cost alternative built in the USA with USA steel, foam and fabric.
